Shawn Welborn

Shawn C. Welborn, age 51, of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed away August 5, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born January 11, 1970 to Jack Welborn and Martha Milam. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Shawn is survived by a half-sister, Genna Stotts, several family members including Dhana Welborn and Amber Welborn-Boney, along with many well-loved friends who are considered treasured family.

Her life has always been deeply rooted in Texas. From a very early age, she has been known for her loyal servant’s heart. Shawn loved to fill a room with laughter, embrace silly moments, chit chat with family and friends, and first and foremost serve God with every fiber of her being.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Bastrop Christian Outreach Center.

She will always be known for her love for God, family, friends, and any animal in her pathway. Her unshakable faith, powerful prayers, inspirational words, and Godly love will continue as a mighty example for the world.

Forever, this sweet child of God will be greatly loved by many and deeply missed beyond words.
