Christmas Day, she finally learned how to pronounce his last name.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Lester and Alice Beneman, and his son
Patrick Jr.

Pat is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cherry Beneman and Daughters Monica (Ryan)

He is retired with 24 years of Active Duty in the United States Navy as a Navy Seal.
He was a 2 War Veteran with 2 tours in Vietnam, a tour in Desert Strom and many
conflicts in between. During his time in the Military, he spent 13 years deployed at sea
and visited 62 foreign countries. He retired as an OSCS (E-8). He met his wife while they
were stationed together at CINCLANTFLT Norfolk, VA.

After he retired from the United States Navy, he spent several years working for various
people learning carpentry and rock laying. He was then hired by the LCRA and worked at
Lake Bastrop's North and South shore. During his time there he prided himself in making
the park a beautiful place for people to visit. Mowing, clearing campsites, making signs,
doing construction and cutting the nine miles of hike and bike trails between North and
South Shore. He was transferred his last 3 years to the Mansfield Dam office where he
continued to make the parks up and down the Colorado River a beautiful place for people
to visit. After 15 years with the LCRA he retired to spend his time making his own property
look like a park for his wife, who worked by his side. He enjoyed spending time with family,
fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed playing worship music to God. Sometimes, he would
play up to 5 hours at a time, often loosing track of how long he was playing. Pat was a gifted
