Pamela "Pam" Maxwell

December 24, 1955 — February 21, 2020

Pam Maxwell our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and nana passed away peacefully on February 21, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pam retired from Texas Parks and Wildlife after 30 years of service. After retiring from the state, she worked part-time as a home healthcare caregiver. Later, she went to work part-time at HEB in Bastrop. She loved reading, playing card games, shopping, and spending time with her family. Pam touched many lives during her lifetime and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Pam is survived by her loving mom, Anna Hartmann; sister, Tracy Allen; daughter, Amber Culp and her husband Josh; son, Shawn Bailey-Maxwell and his husband Michael; grandchildren, Nicholas Culp, Joey Bailey-Maxwell; nephews, Colby Allen, Caleb Allen and many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Hartmann and brother-in-law, Bruce Allen.

The family would like to give a special Thank You to the numerous physicians and medical teams for their care and thoughtfulness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation or the Heart of Texas Lab Rescue in loving memory of Pamela Maxwell.

A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at 10:30 on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home, located at 505 Old Austin Highway in Bastrop, Texas.
