Lori Brown

August 21, 1958 — September 20, 2021

Austin, Texas

Lori Confer Brown passed away peacefully in her home on Monday September 20th, 2021. She was born Lori Jean Confer on August 21st, 1958 in Warren Pennsylvania, to Richard and Barbara Confer. She was an active member of Warren’s First Baptist Church and attended Warren Public Schools, graduating from Warren High in 1976.

Lori was a flower child, wild and free. Shortly after her high school graduation she packed up and headed west to California where she later met and married Albert Brown in May of 1979. Lori had a huge heart and loved the outdoors, horses, four wheeling, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was such a free spirit too, a biker chic through and through. She may not have been the best driver, but she truly loved having the wind in her hair, so a biker chic she will always be.

In 1993, Lori and her family moved to Texas where she began her career at Motorola/Freescale from which she would later retire. She has many friends that she has met along the way that she enjoyed spending time with but above all, Lori was blessed to become a Nana. She loved her children and her grandchildren with every ounce of her being.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother Barbara and her brother Jeff. She is survived by her father, Richard Confer, sister and brother in law, Debbie & Dennis Groves, sister in law, Carolyn Confer, daughter and son in law Alyssa & Dave Mosher, her son and daughter in law James Brown & Shanna Grunewald, her grandchildren Winter & Kaitlyn Mosher & Sarah & Lyndzi Brown, nephews Ryan & Tyler Groves and their families, as well as her partner in crime, her best friend, Tana Hennig.

A remembrance memorial will be held at a later date. Please hold your loved ones close and never take anyone for granted. From Lori to all of her Family and Friends “Seize the day”.
