"Jim" Reed

It is with great sadness that the family of Ambrose Jim Reed announces his passing following a long illness, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the age of 80 years. Jim was born on September 17, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jim will be lovingly remembered by his former spouse of 25 years, Ruth Reed, children Rhonda Jones; husband Jimmie, Tammy Reed, Dena Lindamood, Ruthie Washington; husband Brian, Amber Cook; husband Shannon, Alan Reed; wife Felicia, and Angela Bell, fiancé Kevin. Jim will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Alisa Proffitt; husband Matt, Amy Isenhower; husband Aaron, Tabitha Salinas; husband Raul, Amanda Pappas; husband Kyle, Hasan Alzubi, Ciara Washington, Brian Washington, Jr; wife Amethyst, Brandon Washington; wife Colbie, Christopher Washington; wife Amber, Brittany Washington, Tiffany Cook, AJ Reed, Payton Reed, Kaelyn Wentrcek; husband Dale,  Ashley Snell, Kinley Murphy and Riley Murphy  and great grandchildren, Carter, Hudson, Arlee, Aaron Jr., Kirsten, Raul Jr., Grayson, Aaniyah, Kaliyah, Braelan, Brantlee, Landon, Harper, Eli, Miles, Jace, Karson, Kaley and Abel.  Brothers are Fred Reed; wife Karen, Ralph Hensley; wife Diana and AJ Hensley; wife Barbara.

Jim was predeceased by his father, Ivan Reed, mother, Merlie Baker Hensley, brother, Chester Reed, sister, Cindy Reed and brother, John Hensley.
