Frank Kennedy

Frank Kennedy passed away at his home in Dale on November 23, 2020 at the age of 62. He was born July 20, 1958 to James "Sunny" and Gladys Kennedy of Blanco, Texas.

Frank grew up in Blanco. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. When he was not hunting or fishing, he was working. Frank worked in construction all of his adult life. He built many roads in Texas up until his untimely passing. He worked for many construction companies, the most recent being, Ray Farris Construction in San Antonio.

During Frank's sickness, Ray Farris and all employees stood by Frank with continued support and encouragement. He was very grateful to all his crewmembers who were more than co-workers, they were family.

His love for the outdoors was obvious to anyone and everyone he met. He always had a good fishing story and pictures to back it up. He loved fishing in Port Aransas. He always had a great time by the water.  Hunting was something he began doing with his father.  His first hunting trip at the age of 2. Frank killed his first deer at age 7. Frank always had a freezer full of meat and a great story to share.

He is preceded in death by his father, James "Sunny" Kennedy and his sister, Donna.

Frank is survived by his wife, Michelle of Dale, TX; mother, Gladys of Blanco, TX; his children, Kevin and Corey Shumake of Beeville, TX, Joe and Nicole Woodworth of Dale, TX, Patrick Lovely of Dale, TX, Chasity Edralin of Dale, TX;   his awesome grandchildren, Joe, Jimi, Bailey; many brothers and sisters in law, numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and his fur babies, Sadie and Gypsi.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Marrs- Jones- Newby Funeral Home with burial following at the Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
