Dave, “Bruce” as known by his family, ran like the wind in track, loved the game of baseball, classic cars, and music. Dave was clever and amusingly ingenious with his words as they were very important to him.  He had the uncanny ability to speak the truth, many sought his advice.

Dave always made phone calls to his family and friends, on New Year’s Eve, including his first wife Lisa Walz Muniz, and his best friend Richard De La Haya, both he loved dearly, Richard for always being there, and Lisa for giving him his greatest gift, his beloved daughter Dana.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Reyes Muniz from Three Rivers Texas, and his beloved niece, Mariah White from Houston Texas.

Dave and Donna’s 29th anniversary would have been on February 2, 2021 (Groundhog Day). He battled serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Dave stayed strong in his faith until the end. His death leaves behind a devastated family and friends.  We will celebrate his life at a later date when gatherings are appropriate.
