David Friske

David Allen Friske of Austin, Texas, died on May 18, 2021.  He was 54 years old.  David was born in Dallas, Texas, June 14, 1965 to Eugene and Jenease Friske.  David was the third of nine children.

David is survived by his sons Joshua D. Friske and Jeremy A. Friske, Jeremy’s wife Kelsey, his mother Jenease Friske, his brothers Michael E. Friske and his wife Diane, Stephen W. Friske and his wife Carla, Paul D. Friske and his wife Tiffany, Christopher C. Friske and Victor Dixon, and Jonathan M. Friske and his wife Bertha, and his sisters Madonna C. McLeod and her husband Rod, and Karen Probst.  His is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  David was proceeded in death by his father Eugene E. Friske and his brother Bryan E. Friske.

David grew up in Dallas, Texas.  He attended Subiaco Academy in Subiaco, Arkansas, for his first three years of high school and finished high school at Skyline High School in Dallas.

David was a licensed electrician and worked for four different electrical companies in Dallas and Austin before becoming an independent contractor doing maintenance for a property management company in Austin, Texas.

David was known for his big heart and being the life of the party.  He loved his family, especially his sons, and cherished spending time at all types of family events and gatherings.  He was always willing to help others, especially those down on their luck.
