Willis Smith

Willis W. Smith, 78, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2019. He was born January 01, 1941 in Alamosa, Colorado. He was a heavy equipment operator with the City of Austin for 24 years.

Willis was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Price Smith and Frankie Rountree; stepfather, Jerry Rountree, daughter, Shellie R. Bermudez, and son, Darren Q. "Smitty" Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce L. Smith, son, Wesley T. Smith; 6 grandchildren: Anthony R. Smith, Johnathan W. Bermudez, Evanne R. Bermudez, Jadea M. Velsor, Ashley Avery A. Smith, and John Cheatham; 11 great-grandchildren: Angel, Sammy Jr, Austin, Heather, Joyce, Cody, Kaden, Jace, Chesney, Remington, and Jaxon.

Graveside services will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
