Willie Carroll

Willie Patrick Carroll was born March 12, 1950, in Austin, Texas.

Pat attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and
worked as a union plumber for 45 years in the Plumbers and
Pipefitters Union Local 286. Pat retired in January 2016.

Pat loved God, his family, his church and Texas A&M. He was a
faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as
a trustee, a deacon, member of the church council, and
servant-member willingly doing whatever was asked of him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willie Mayo Carroll and
Zula Mae Law Carroll and his brother Eddie Barrett.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Carroll; brother Thomas Barrett;
a daughter, Janna Leslie Carroll of Round Rock and son Patrick
Ryan Carroll and wife Sara of Bastrop; a step-daughter Michelle
Anderson and husband Mike of Bastrop; grandchildren, Thomas
and Mallory Carroll, Sarah Neal and husband Austin, Ashley Allen,
Andrew Allen, Megan Allen; great-granddaughter, Lila Caroline Allen
expected in September; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pat graduated to heaven surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday,
August 21, 2018.

A Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday, August 24, 2018 at
Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop. Funeral Services will be
2:00pm Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bastrop
with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions be made
to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 3005 Loop 150 East,
Bastrop, TX 78602.
