Udina June Wise

Udina “June” Wise, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024, at Seton Hays Hospital,
Kyle, Texas after a brief illness.

June was born June 3, 1929, in LaFollette , Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her
daughter, Marcella Jean Garcia, her son Ronald Lee Wise, her mother Maude Ethel Douglas,
father John R. Douglas, and many other loved family.

June was a devoted and loyal wife to Charles Wise. Together they traveled the country and
settled in numerous states as his career required. June was a loving and caring mother to
four children, including daughter Marcella Jean, son Ronald Lee, daughter Terry Diane, and
son Nathan Allan. June was a resilient and strong woman, persevering many life challenges
with grace and Christian faith. She enjoyed keeping a clean household, cooking, tending her
flowers, and following her special daytime dramas. She was an avid league bowler for many
years and enjoyed card games, and piano. She and husband Charles traveled extensively,
living the RV life both on the road and in the parks. She was a doting and proud mother,
grandmother, great grandmother, and and great-great grandmother and she filled her
rooms with pictures of them all.

June is survived by her husband of 71 years, Charles Wise of Lockhart, Texas , daughter
Terry W. Hamilton and son-in-law Mark Hamilton of Shiloh, Illinois and son, Nathan A.
Wise and daughter-in-law Susan Wise of Red Rock, Texas, and son-in-law Bernard Garcia of
Moore, Oklahoma, and sister Mollie Kulchar, of Andover, Ohio, and brothers Edwon
Douglas of Lake City, Arkansas, Joe Douglas of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Leroy Douglas of
Lake City, Arkansas, Alvin Douglas of Lake City, Arkansas, Charlie Douglas of Black Oak,
Arkansas, Floyd Douglas of Murfreesboro, TN, Troy Douglas of Black Oak, Arkansas, 11
grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. She will be remembered for
the kind and gentle soul she was.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a future date. The family requests no flowers or
donations at this time.
