Thomas Anthony "Tony" Galvan

Thomas Anthony "Tony" Galvan, age 58, of Bastrop, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Tony was an Auto Glass Technician with 38 years experience.

He was born April 9, 1964 in Bastrop, Texas to Jill and Cruz Galvan. He is preceded in death by his father, Cruz Galvan and brother, Fernando R Galvan.

Tony is survived by his son, Logan Galvan and Logan's mom, Renie Galvan; his mother, Jill Galvan; sisters, Kathy Galvan (Steve La Grange), Amy Galvan, Keena Galvan; brothers, Randy Galvan (Alvina), Ronnie Galvan; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Tony had a smile, laugh and sense of humor that was Loud and Proud. He was a Die Hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.  He had a passion for dove hunting, Texas Longhorns, family pets and Pink Floyd. he was so proud to be Logan's Dad that he coached Logan's soccer team and never missed a football game or school event that Logan participated in. He was a loving Father, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home, with burial following at Alta Vista Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.

The funeral home is located at 505 Old Austin Highway in Bastrop, Texas.
