Thomas N Savidge “Thom”, age 55 was called from this life on January 4th, 2024, in his home in Chenango Forks, New York. Thom was born on July 23, 1969, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the third son born to Vincent Savidge and Margaret MacKenzie.
Thom attended Southern LeHigh High School, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania where he was in the marching band and played the trumpet. He graduated in 1987. Thom always had a fondness for music and drama as art. He was in the Drama Guild, the chorus and Meistersingers (elite chorus).
Thom served in the army for 2 years as a Material Storage & Handling Specialist where he earned an Army Achievement Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Sharpshooter Badge. In the army Thom was introduced to Army Logistics and driving semi-trucks, which then became his main career and one of his many passions. He has traveled to 48 of the 50 states and had too many adventures to count along the way.
Thom was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren! He also enjoyed traveling and though he didn’t have the opportunity to indulge in it a lot he loved sailing and the Jersey Shore. Thom was not a man that could be missed, and his personality and voice could fill a room. If you were ever looking for good advice, he was the man to call.
