Thelma Pettit

Thelma Jean Williamson Pettit, 80, of Bastrop, Texas passed away at home on November 23, 2023.

Thelma was born October 6, 1943, in Little Rock Arkansas. Thelma moved from Arkansas to California for a few years and made her way to Texas. Working as a waitress is where she met her love Don Pettit. They were married August 7, 1962, in Houston. They were able to celebrate their 60th anniversary together last year. She loved spending time with all of her family and enjoyed vacationing in Las Vegas.

Thelma is survived by her two daughters and their spouses Tammy and Lelton Dickey, Lynda Eichorst and Foster Dealing; Four grandchildren and their spouses Jaime and Jason Goodman, Katie and John David Ponce, Jake and Cindy Dickey, Amanda Eichorst and Caleb Weeks; seven great-grandchildren Jenna and Jaxon Goodman, Caroline and Hayden Eichorst, Lucy and Ava Ponce, and Cameron Martinez.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents Oscar & Emmy Williamson, her sisters Betty Crosno, Ann Hill, Carolyn Gates, Doris Turner and her brothers Joe Williamson and Kenny Williamson.

Graveside Services were held at Ridgeway Cemetery.
