Robert "Bob" Giffin

BASTROP - Robert “Bob” C. Giffin, 82, of Bastrop, Texas, was perfected and entered the arms of his Savior on August 12, 2022, after a sudden illness.

Bob was a master plumber. Born in Warren, Ohio to Kenneth and Bertha (Ebling) Giffin, he graduated from Lordstown High School in Lordstown, Ohio, owned and operated the family’s business, Giffin Plumbing & Heating, Inc., in Warren, Ohio, and later established Giffin Mechanical after relocating to Texas.

Preceding Bob in death are his parents, a brother, his sisters: Mary (Bud) Gregg, Rachel (Chuck) Morris, and Gayle (Bob) Webb; and his infant daughter Kristen Giffin.

Until they’re reunited in heaven, Bob leaves behind his remaining children and their families: Robin (Steve) Hillard of Hartville, Ohio, Kenneth (Lori) Giffin of Columbia City, Indiana, Wendy (Chris) Lazor of Uniontown, Ohio, and Jennifer (Daniel) Aulizia of Warren, Ohio.

Bob also leaves behind some precious friends, people his kids refer to as his “Texas” family: Deepak and Archana (Archie), Dan and Cyndy, Woody, and Javier (JT).

Per Bob’s wishes, formal services will not be held. A private family memorial will take place at a later date in Texas.
