Patricia Malerk

Patricia Ann Malerk,"Pat", passed away October 31, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born August 9, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Mary and Marvin Shafer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Shafer. Pat is survived by her husband of fifty years, Robert J Malerk, Jr. ; son, Robert J Malerk, III, daughter-in-law, Christy Malerk; two grandsons, Robert Keith Malerk and Dillon Malerk; and several extended family and friends.

Patricia volunteered at the Bastrop Senior Center and was a member of the Red Hats and TOPS organizations. She liked to sew, cross stitch, crochet, quilting, adult coloring and jewelry making.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Associates, National Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice in loving memory of Pat Malerk.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin 10:00am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home with burial following at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
