Nancy Faye Goldsborough

Our beloved Mother Nancy Faye Goldsborough was born in Palmyra, Nebraska on February 6, 1941. Shortly after they moved to Austin, Texas where she met the love of her life Joseph whom she married in March of 1957. They shared a life for 65 years.

Nancy’s calling was the love of children. Her passion was cooking and baking for her family.

In her later years she enjoyed sitting on her front porch with her husband and nature.

Nancy is survived by her children Cynthia (David) Wolfe, Debroah (Ricky) Garner, Joseph Jr (Cheryl) Goldsborough, and Gary Goldsborough; sisters Georgia (Lloyd) Lewis and Lorrie (Mike) Polvado; niece and nephew Lorrie McBride and Will (Dalice) Lewis; grandchildren Christine (Reyes) Torres, Joseph B. Goldsborough, Mason Goldsborough, Bryce and Cameron Ross; great grandkids Jacob and Christopher Torres, Noah Carraway, Emma Goldsborough, Dawson Westerman and Emily Goldsborough; great great grandkids Elena & Liliana Chairez-Torres.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sr and grandson David Goldsborough.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Joseph Goldsborough, Jr., Gary Goldsborough, Reyes Torres, Jacob Torres, Christopher Torres and Will Lewis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ricky Garner, David Wolfe, and Christine Torres.

The family would like to give special thanks to all of the staff at Silver Pines Nursing Home and Rehabilitation for all of their love and compassion that they have shown to our mother over the last four years and a Special thank you to Ashley Perez (hospice). 

Services for Nancy will be Monday, May 4, 2026 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop Texas.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am and services at 11:00am with burial following at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
