Martha Riley

Martha Elizabeth Riley, age 82, of Cedar Creek, Texas passed away on January 30, 2020 due to complications of an illness. Martha was born on May 20, 1937 to Preston and Lillie Golden in Rome, Georgia.

She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where she met her husband William Riley. In 1975 she traveled to Houston, Texas with her three children. She later relocated to Cedar Creek, Texas where she resided for more than 30 years.

Martha was preceded in death by parents, Lillie and Preston Golden; her daughter, Kimberly Lynn Riley; her husband, William Taylor Riley; and her son, William Taylor Riley, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Ann Moss and her husband, Allen Moss, of  Houston, Texas; her daughter, Shannon Lynn Shine of Cedar Creek, Texas; her siblings, Jimmy and Dean Golden and Frieda Prestige; grandsons, Preston Taylor Moss, Anthony Taylor Gonzales and Jacob Aaron Shine.

Martha worked hard as a waitress to provide for her children.  She loved her family and friends. She will be cherished and missed by all.
