Lillie Mcguire

Lillie Loth McGuire, age 79, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandma and great-grandma passed away peacefully on February 3, 2018.

Lillie lived most of her adult life in LaGrange, Texas where in her early years she worked as a waitress at The Old Bon Ton Café. She then became a cashier at HEB where she eventually retired. Lillie was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange for many years. She enjoyed attending church service when her health would allow or watching it on TV when it didn't. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, the occasional trip to Dairy Queen for a blizzard and fostering the neighborhood cats that showed her unconditional love and appreciated her time and kitty treats.

Lillie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Joe Westfall; daughter Tammy Voges; granddaughter Jetta Mobley, granddaughter and her husband Lauren & Robert Bennett; grandson and his wife Russell & Leanne Campbell; great grand-children Alyssa Vera, Jason Farias, Lathan Bennett and Landan Bennett; sister Mary-Ann Bartek; niece Cheryl Loth; and nephews Albert Loth, Jr and John Bartek.

Lillie's father and mother Fred and Lena Loth; brother Albert Loth and son Russell Huber proceeded her in death.

A celebration of Life will be held at Marr-Jones-Newby Funeral Home
Monday, February 19th at 11:00 am in Bastrop Texas.
