Leonard Frank Akins was born November 5, 1933 and died March 11, 2021 at 11:25 pm at home due to complications from pneumonia and Alzheimer’s.

Frank was born in San Saba County, Texas, the son of Mr. & Mrs. George Leonard Akins.

Preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Gazelle Akins, and two sisters, Ann Dodds and Bobbye Slaughter of Brady, Texas.

Survived by his loving wife Beverly of 68 years, and 3 daughters Becky DeButts, Judy Phillips and Tonya Akins.  Five grand children and Five great grandchildren and his brother Fagan Roy Akins of Chatsworth, Georgia.

Frank, known as Papa by his family was a Godly man. He will surely be missed, but we know we will be united one day!

Frank served in the church over 40 years and retired from BAE Inc. in 2002.

Frank and Beverly resided in Cedar Creek, Texas.
