Kirk Michael Frederick Hoefer, of Red Rock, Texas, passed away on May 27th, 2024, at the age of 73 at St. David’s Medical center in Austin Texas.
Kirk is survived by his wife, Belynda (Barron) Hoefer, two daughters: Erin (Eric) Ryza and Bethany Hoefer; 3 sons: Joshua (Vanessa), Derek (Kim) and Jacob Hoefer. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and his sister, Candace Gerber of Colorado.
In his life, Kirk worked as a Courier for a newspaper company in Los Angles, manager of his parent’s café in Kess, Texas, as a plumber in Plainview, Texas, group home houseparent, and lastly with Aqua Water from 1987 to his retirement in 2018.
Since he retired, Kirk enjoyed working on his new property in Red Rock, spending time with family and friends, watching Nascar and sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with everyone he could.
He has been loved very much and will continue to be. Everyday we will miss his smiles, wit, strength, endless corny jokes, compassion, love for his family, friends and God. His life has left a deep imprint upon our hearts that can never be erased.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at the Bastrop Christian Outreach, 1096 State Hwy 71, in Bastrop Texas.
