Joseph Everette Goldsborough, Sr. of Manor, TX, was born in Dynard, Maryland on March 18, 1937. He died on November 25, 2022.
He joined the Air Force at 17 years old in Alexandria, Virginia. He proudly served from October 7 of 1954 to July 14 of 1958. His training brought him to Bergstrom AFB in Austin, TX. in March of 1956 where he met the love of his life and was married for 65 years.
His passion in life was his family and stock car racing.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Cynthia (David) Wolfe, Debroah (Richard) Garner, Joe (Cheryl) Goldsborough and Gary Goldsborough; grandchildren, Christine (Reyes) Torres, Joseph B Goldsborough, Mason Goldsborough, Cameron and Bryce Ross; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, Emily, Noah, Emma and Dawson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, David Goldsborough; his mother and father; two sisters and two brothers.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jennifer, Elvida, Krystal, Bello and the rest of the entire staff at the Lost Pines Nursing Facility for their passionate care and love.
Pallbearers: Joseph Goldsborough, Gary Goldsborough, Christine Torres, Reyes Torres, David Wolfe, Will Lewis.
Honorary Pallbearers: Richard Garner, Jacob Torres, and Christopher Torres.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm and the service will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home with Military Honors and Burial following at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Texas.
