Jorge Alonzo "Al" Lozano Sr. of Del Valle, TX passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 63. He was born June 21, 1958, to Antonia Trevino Lozano and Federico Barbour Lozano in Kingsville, TX. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather who cared for his family and friends. He was the brightest light and his smile will be forever missed.
Jorge worked in the semiconductor industry for the past 34 years and spent most of his time with AMD, Spansion, and Infineon Technologies. He spent his best days relaxing & having fun with family and friends, and with his dogs/cat, Flaco, Gracie, & Mae Mae.
Jorge was accompanied in death by his wife of 17 years, Judy Lynn Bureman Johnston Lozano. Judy was born November 3, 1954 and passed away February 9, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father and brothers, Orlando "Early" Lozano and Carlos Lozano.
Among those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Antonia. T. Lozano (Katy, TX); one son, Jorge (Shannon) Lozano Jr. (Victoria, TX) and one daughter Stephanie (Rene) Lozano-Rebolledo (Austin, TX); his five beloved grandchildren, Alexander & Reece Lozano (Victoria, TX), and Hadrian, Jeremy, & Siena Rebolledo (Austin, TX); his sisters, Rosa Alicia (Arturo) Ramirez (Kingsville, TX), Norma (David) Krueger (Houston, TX), Belinda (Andrew) Treadway (McKinney, TX), and sister-in-law Isabel Lozano (McAllen, TX) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & extended loving family.
Family and friends will gather for a time to celebrate Jorge Alonzo's life from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home, 505 Old Austin Highway, Bastrop, TX, 78602.
