Joe Howard Adare (passionately known as Pa Pa), of Bastrop, Texas went
   
   to his Heavenly Home on October 25, 2018.
   
   
   Joe Howard was born in Austin to Howard and Bessie Adare on November
   
   25, 1942. He graduated from Briggs High School and attended Southwest
   
   Texas State University. He married his bride, Wanda Wright, on September
   
   28, 1962 in Bastrop. He worked at L.C.R.A. for over 30 years as well as 10 years
   
   with BISD after retiring from L.C.R.A. He dedicated many hours to the Little
   
   League organization of Bastrop. He also, after fully being retired took on
   
   mowing yards, and was known as Joe's mowing service.
   
   
   Joe was happiest with his family gathered together and at his deer lease hunting
   
   with his boys. He also looked forward to his "church time" with the First Baptist
   
   Church Men's Ministry every Thursday morning at 7:00am at Texas Grill.
   
   
   Joe is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Adare, sons Kevin Adare and wife Lynn;
   
   Kendal Adare and wife Jennifer; and daughter Kimberly Thompson and husband Chris.
   
   He is also survived by his sister Nancy Lane and her husband Rex Lane. The pride of
   
   Joe's life was being Papa to his seven grandchildren and six great grandkids: son
   
   Kevin's children: Meghan Shepherd, granddaughter and her husband Travis and
   
   great grandchildren Braxton, Case, and Grayson; Morgan Adare, grandson and his
   
   wife Kelsey and children Cooper, Bailey, Elliott; Micah Adare, grandson and best friend
   
   and his wife Mikayla; Son Kendal's children: Kinsey Adare, granddaughter, Bryson Adare,
   
   grandson; daughter Kimberly's children Blake Thompson, grandson, and Connor
   
   Thompson, grandson.
   
   
   Visitation will be from 4 to 6:00pm on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Marrs-Jones-Newby
   
   Funeral Home in Bastrop.
   
   
   Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday, October 29, 2018 at First Baptist Church
   
   of Bastrop with Dr. Raymond Edge officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery,
   
   Bastrop.
   
   
   Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Honorary Pallbearers: Jason Mouser in memory of
   
   Henry Mouser and Chad Cox in honor of Clyde Cox.
   
   
   Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Bastrop Men's Ministry, 1202 Water
   
   Street, Bastrop, TX 78602.
