Jo Katherine Reid

Jo Katherine Reid, known affectionately as Katherine, passed into eternal rest on March 1, 2026.in Kingman AZ. Born on August 24, 1939, in Austin, Texas, Katherine was a resilient spirit, whose life was a testament to her unwavering faith. She moved to Kingman, Arizona two years ago and made it her home, bringing with her the warmth of her spirit and the richness of her experiences.

A humble servant of her community, Katherine worked as an Adjuster for the IRS until her retirement. In her personal and professional life, Katherine was an embodiment of grace and humility, always putting others before herself. She was a woman of profound faith, and it is said, "Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord." (Luke 1:45). Katherine truly believed and lived her life in fulfillment of this promise.

Katherine leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory; her son Donald Reid Jr., grandsons Donald III and James Reid, and great-grandchildren Ryleigh Mills and Hudson Reid. She was preceded in death by her father Cullen Meadows Routon, Mother Bessie Lenora Shaw, Husband Donald Gene Reid, brother Lew Leslie Routon, daughter Karen Reid, and sister Patsy Gourley.
