Obituary

Janet Marie Spradlin, 59, a beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2026 At Dell Seton Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born in Houston to her parents Henry and Barbara Huff on May 14th, 1967. She grew up in Bellaire Texas with her loving brothers Allen and Kenneth and her sister Rhonda.
For 40 beautiful years, she was the loving wife and devoted partner of Patrick Spradlin. Together, they built a life filled with love, memories, laughter, challenges overcome, and a family that was her greatest pride and joy.
She was a mother who gave her whole heart to her child. Andrew Jon Spradlin will forever carry the love, lessons, strength, and memories she gave them. She had a way of making her family feel loved, protected, and cared for, no matter what life brought their way.
Those who knew Janet will remember her for her kindness, strength, generosity, sense of humor, compassion, faith and warmth. She found joy in hobbies, family gatherings, cooking, gardening, traveling, holidays and decorating for every holiday. But her greatest happiness always came from being with the people she loved.
She was the heart of her family-the person who brought people together, offered comfort when it was needed, celebrated every accomplishment, and stood beside the people she loved through every season of life. Her love was steady, unconditional, and deeply felt.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Patrick Spradlin her child Andrew Spradlin and many family members and friends who were blessed to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Huff and her brother Kenneth Huff.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we are grateful for the 40 years of love, memories, and moments we were blessed to share with her. Her love will continue to live on in her husband and her child and everyone whose life she touched.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A memorial of Janet's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10,2026 at Calvary Episcopal in Bastrop
