Jackie Sailors

Jackie Lee Sailors, age 83 of Bastrop was called from this life
on April 8, 2018 at his home in Cedar Creek, Texas. He was
born September 23, 1934 in Sikeston, Missouri to John Tom
and Nannie (La Van) Sailors.

Jack was the restaurateur of the Boomerang from 1969 to
1986 and the Decker Cafe from 1985 through 2010.

Jack's greatest joy was spending time with his family. His
cheerful smile and positive attitude brightened every
single day.

He is survived by: his loving wife of 61 years, Maxine Sailors;
children, Angela Dickinson and spouse Wayne, Jacquelyn
Sailors, Elaine Hitchcock, Jay Sailors, and Jason Sailors; 10
grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, April 10,
2018 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home, Bastrop, Texas
with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will
be at the funeral home at 10:00am Wednesday with burial
to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop, Texas.
