Bastrop
Gisela Roemhild, 88 of Bastrop, TX, passed away on October 3, 2012. She was born in Breslau, Germany on February 16,1937 to Dr. Albert Rehmet and Erika Gregor Rehmet.
Gisela was preceded in death by her husband Detlev Roemhild.
Gisela is survived by her daughter, Angela Love, her grandsons, Callen Crumbaker and Samuel Crumbaker.
The family would like to thank JOL Hospice staff, especially Angelo Garcia, for their love and care of our “Oma”.
Family and friends will gather from 9:00am to 10:00am and the service will begin at 10:00am on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home.
Following the service the family will have a private committal service at Fairview Cemetery.
