Frances Ann Castillo-Moore, 54, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026 after fighting a long battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
Born on December 14, 1971 in Bastrop, Texas to Juan Angel Castillo Sr. and Olga (Chavez) Castillo. She is survived by her husband Kevin Moore and her five children, Mayson (Amanda), Drake, Bryce, Tia, and Ashlee. Her brother, Juan A Castillo Jr. (Rhonda), and sister Patricia A (Castillo) Clark (Stewart) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Juan A Castillo Sr.; her mother, Olga (Chavez) Castillo; her sisters, Sylvia Ann Castillo and Maria Louisa Castillo.
She attended Bastrop High School where she met the love of her life, Kevin Moore. she enjoyed many sports, including volleyball and basketball. She was a big fan of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. She loved sunflowers, frogs and her fur babies, Boyboy, Astro and Marley. She was an Urban Cowboy and League of Their Own movie fanatic as well as many different genres of music.
She was a very hard worker. Always very caring and generous in all aspects of her life. She offered many opportunities to many people who worked for her at Sonic in Bastrop, Texas. She always had a smile on her face no matter the circumstances. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hope Rodriguez, for all of her help, love and support.
The viewing will be held on January 26, 2026 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and the Rosary following from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. The funeral services will be held on January 27th, at 10:00am at the Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop, Texas.
The Family requests that everyone wear pink to the funeral services.
