Ernest Goertz

Ernest Pius Goertz passed from this life peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 1, 2018. He was born in Rockne, Texas to Albert and Sophie Goertz on July 20, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Clara. He is
survived by his four children and their spouses Loretta, Allan (Verna), Glenn (Tammy) and Daron (Joe). He is also survived by numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 7:00pm and recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Ascension Catholic Church.

Interment will follow the mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rockne, Texas.

The family wishes to thank Visiting Angels for the compassionate care they provided Ernest during his last days.
