Dominga Resendez

Dominga Resendez passed away December 30, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Guadalupe and Manuel Guajardo.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rudy Resendez, Sr.; daughter, Teresa Resendez; sons, Francisco "Pancho" Resendez, Arturo Resendez; sister, Elvira Granado; and brother, Manuel Guajardo.

Dominga is survived by Children, Frances and Jaime Resendez-Diaz, Rudy and Laura Resendez, Manuela Ferrer, Sandy Delarosa; 13 grandchildren, Gracie Resendez, Dave Resendez, Raphael Diaz, Bianca Resendez, Nick Resendez, Roman Resendez, Monica Huerta, Asa Resendez, Jordan Ferrer, Roy Delarosa, Daniel Delarosa, Manuel Resendez, Elizabeth Garcia; 9 great-grandchildren, Devon Boardman, Samantha Daisy Boardman, Ava Wynn Velez, Issaih Huerta, Eric Trevino, Joshua Trevino, Jacob Resendez, Amaris Resendez, Jonathon Resendez and great-great-grandson Jonathon Gabriel Junior Resendez.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop. Rosary will be 7:00pm Wednesday. The funeral service will be 10:30am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Marrs-Jones-Newby with burial following at Alta Vista Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
