Denise Foote

Denise Jeannine Foote, age 62, of Red Rock, Texas passed from this life on March 1, 2017 at her home. She was born October 14, 1954 in Rhode Island to Thomas and Pauline Pothier. Denise married James (Jimmy) Foote on November 11, 1998 in Austin, Texas.

Denise was most recently employed as an administrative assistant with the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Texas. She loved horses and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Foote; 3 sisters, Jeannine, Diane, and Celeste; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00am Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bateman Cemetery, Bateman, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to an animal shelter, or animal rescue of your choice.
