Cynthia Ann Wade (Brown)

Cynthia Ann Wade, age 66, passed away on August 4th, 2026. She was born on July 11th, 1960 and spent her childhood growing up in Texas and Hawaii. Some of her happiest and most cherished memories were made in Panama with her then-husband, Calvin Cunningham.

Cynthia was a loving mother to Christina Witherspoon(TJ), Candice Cunningham (Steven), Emily Schmidt, and Jeremy Schmidt (Mal.). She also lovingly adopted Justin Cunningham. A step mom to Katie Cook (Nahagan), Robert Wade and Virgil Wade. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and happiness.

Cynthia's heart extended far beyond her immediate family. She opened her home and her heart as a foster parent, providing love, care, and a safe place for children who needed it. Caring for others was a natural part of who she was.

Cynthia loved singing, animals, and helping people. She was known for her kind and generous spirit and for always being willing to help those around her. The love she gave to her family and others will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Dennis Wade; her children, Christina (TJ) Witherspoon, Candice Cunningham (Steven), Emily Schmidt, Jeremy Schmidt (Mal.), Justin Cunningham, step children Katie Cook (Nahagan), Robert Wade and Virgil Wade; her eight grandchildren; her brother, Joe (Martha) Wright; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Don Wright; her former husband, Calvin; and her adopted mother, Juanita Wilson.

Cynthia's life was filled with love, family, compassion, and countless memories. She touched many lives through her role as a mother, grandmother, foster parent, sister, Aunt and friend. Her love for singing, animals, and helping others will always be remembered.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
