Connie Sue Whisenhunt

Born May 22, 1957, in Austin, Texas, Connie Sue Whisenhunt passed away at the age of 68 on Friday September 12, 2025.

Connie is survived by her daughter Katie, her beloved grandchildren Nathan and Skylar, Nephews David and Roger, Nieces Lauren and Amy, sister Judy and brother-in-law Jerry, brothers James, David and Ricky and sister-in-law Milly, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Connie worked for 25+ years for the City of Austin at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Throughout her career she was well respected and made many friends. She enjoyed her time with the City of Austin.

She had the biggest heart. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help anyone who needed it.

She loved a good tv show, a good book, and spending time with loved ones playing cards and backgammon.

Connie will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services to celebrate Connies life will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Marrs Jones Newby in Bastrop, Texas. Visitation will be between the hours of 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, leading directly into funeral services at 2:00 PM.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in McDade, Texas, immediately following.
