Brian Bernal

Brian Lee Bernal was born on July 7th, 1994 in Austin, Texas. He passed away on May 31st, 2023.

Brian was a long time resident of Bastrop, Texas. Growing up Brian also spent alot of his life in Fort Stockton,Texas.

Brian leaves behind his mother Maria Gomez, father Cruz Bernal and step father Jesus Perez. Brothers John Rios, Edgar Perez, Jared Perez, Abram Alfredo Bernal and sister, Emma Renee Bernal. Daughter Alina Faye Bernal. Along with uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brian was passionate about music. He started drumming at his uncle’s church at the age of 7. His brother John then introduced him to his first studio experience in their mothers closet along with his close friend Rick Garcia. He was part of a music label out of Houston, Texas called TSU. But Brian was doing his music solo merging with local rappers.

Brian will be greatly missed, but will find peace in knowing he is praising his savior and rejoicing with the family who has gone before him.

Visitation will be from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 10:00am at the Holy Spirit Church with burial following at Fairview Cemetery.

The funeral home is located at 505 Old Austin Highway in Bastrop, Texas and the Church is located at 287 FM 20  in Bastrop, Texas.

Brian era residente de Bastrop. Creciendo Brian tambien paso gran parte de su vida en Fort Stockton, TX.

Brian deja atras a su madre Maria Gomez, papa Cruz Bernal,y padrastro Jesus Perez. Hermanos John Rios, Edgar Perez, Jared Perez, Abram Alfredo Bernal y hermana Emma Renee Bernal. Hija Alina Faye Bernal. Junto con tios, tias, sobrinos, sobrinas y primos.

Brian era un apasionado de la musica. Comenzo a tocar la bateria en la iglesia de su tio a la edad de 7. Su hermano John luego le presento su primera experiencia de estudio en el armario de su madre junto con su amigo cercano Rick Garcia. El era parte de un Sello Musical de Houston Tx llamado TSU pero Brian estaba haciendo musica solitario fusionandose con raperos locales.

Brian sera extrañado mucho, pero encontrará paz al saber que esta alabando a su salvador y regocijandose con la familia que lo ha precedido.
