Beverly Robberson passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025. Born in San Antonio, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Harry and Ruby Hien, Jr., and a proud graduate of Highlands High School. Beverly married Phillip Robberson in 1961, just one month after meeting, beginning a 55-year journey of love, faith, and ministry together.
A devoted wife, mother, and servant of God, Beverly lived a life centered on family, faith, and service. She worked for the United Methodist Church, served on numerous boards including Habitat for Humanity and the Kiwanis Club, and led programs supporting families and youth in need. Her later years were filled with purpose through GriefShare, which she called a gift from God.
Beverly loved the beach and dancing—she taught dance for many years and sang joyfully in her church choir. Her spirit was full of energy, faith, and kindness, and she found deep joy in helping others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Phillip Gary Robberson.
She is survived by her daughters Kimberly Kolleen Robberson and Jennifer Joan Broussard (Gordon); grandchildren Amber Eason, Summer Pacheco (Mike), Jonathan Eason, and Nicki Moore (Ryan); step-grandchildren Joshua Broussard and Marissa LeJuune (Devin); great-grandchildren Nathan Eason, Landon Pacheco, Leighton Pacheco, and Rylan Moore; and many beloved cousins.
She is remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering faith. Her greatest joy was knowing she was loved and able to love deeply in return.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Celebration Community Church in Bastrop.
Visitation with finger foods will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.
Private burial to follow by invitation only.
