Ben Dealing

Ben Dealing, 84,  went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2022.

Ben Dealing was born on March 3, 1937, in Watertown, N.Y., to Foster M. and Irene G. Dealing.  At age 9, the family moved to Mannsville, NY, and he later served as the manager for the high school basket ball team. During high school and slightly after, he worked at Ed Frapier's Garage in Mannsville. In February of 1957, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a clerk. Among his many adventures, he was stationed in England, While there, he met and married the love of his life, Dezra S. Dealing. Upon release from active duty, they returned to the U.S. where he went to work for RCA/ GE as a buyer. After serving there for 26 years, he officially retired in 1993. In 2016, they moved to Bastrop, TX.

Ben is survived by his beloved wife, Dezra; son, Foster; daughter-in-law, Lynda; granddaughter, Madison; and grandson, Brian.

Visitation will be at 11:00am on Sunday, January 9, 2022,from the chapel of Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop. Graveside services will be at 11:00am take on Monday, January 10, 2022 in Ridgeway cemetery in Paige, TX.
