Ann Russell

Sarah Ann Russell, known to family and friends as "Meme", passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at the age of 69 years.

Ann will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas Avery; grandchildren, Brittney, Kirista, Cody, and Destinee; great-grandchildren, Anna, Peyton, Axel, Haley, Sam, A.J., Liam and Sebastian; brothers and sisters, Ernie, Carl, Jo Grady, Jimmy, Vickie and Sandy.

Ann was predeceased by her first husband, Tommy Avery; her second husband, Jack Russell; son, Darrell Avery; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and McKayla; and her parents, Ralph and Mary Jane Botkin.

A Celebration of Life for Ann will be 1:00pm Friday, April 19, 2019 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home, 505 Old Austin Highway, Bastrop, Texas. Interment will be 3:00pm in the family plot in Lawhon Springs Cemetery, near Beaukiss, Texas on FM 619.
