It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Marie Beck, left this world on July 7, 2024. Ann was born on October 24, 1941, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to Lena and Anthony D'Ambra. She was a dedicated caregiver, having worked many years at various nursing home facilities and as an in-home caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her.
Described as kind, loving, and generous, Ann had a heart of gold and a spirit that touched everyone she met. One of greatest joys in life was Christmas – she adored the holiday season and showered her loved ones with gifts every year, going above and beyond to spread joy and happiness. She had a special talent for making delicious treats. Her tradition of making Italian cookies, fudge, and sweets of various kinds for Christmas presents was cherished by all who received them.
Ann enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She found happiness in creating handmade gifts that would bring warmth and comfort to those she loved. Her culinary skills were also appreciated by many; she took pleasure in cooking and baking for others, always eager to share her homemade creations.
Ann Marie Beck is survived by her sons Daniel Beck (wife Connie), Michael Beck (wife Mercy), daughter Barbara Hickman (husband Timothy), daughter Charlene Brewer, as well as many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved parents Lena and Anthony D'Ambra, and her brother Joseph D'Ambra. She leaves behind surviving family members including brothers Anthony D'Ambra Jr. (wife Patty), Stanley D'Ambra, David D'Ambra (wife Donna), sister Donna D'Ambra, along with other extended family and friends.
Ann's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace knowing she made a significant impact on the world around her.
