Cathy was one off the finest people I ever met. Her shining memory lives on in the many students whose lives she touched while teaching at ACC. She was a treasured member of the Developmental Reading department as a teacher, tutor, and colleague. She was part of the family and her absence will be felt. I'm sorry to not be able to attend her service but my prayers will be with her family.

Even though I didn't get to see Cathy often - usually at a DAR meeting in the past few years - the times I was around her were always a complete joy! She had a sense of humor like no other, which I both appreciated and enjoyed. I know she will be greatly missed by Gordon, her daughters and the rest of her family and close friends and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It grieves my heart deeply to learn that our beloved Cathy had entered God's Garden.
We remember her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers.
Cathy is now free from pain and is walking among God's Garden looking down and guiding us. She was much loved and her passing will leave a scar on our hearts, but the love she had for us and the joyous memories with her shall always be a bright ray of sunshine.
God looked around his garden
And found and empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
and he saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids,
and whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Peace be with you all,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My heart breaks for you in this loss. In the 29yrs of knowing Cassy and her parents, and having Cassy as my kids godmother, Mrs Smith will always be HoHo to my daughter. And HOHO will very much be missed, but all the love and memories keep her alive in our hearts. God came and took her by the hand, to take her home where there is no sickness, no pain and to be free. She is very much at peace and knows how much she is missed and loved. Embrace your memories ,they are forever..... My love and prayers are always with you... Love to you all
