Carolyn Jo (Ebner) Reid, age 70 of Bastrop was called from this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Austin, Texas. She was born February 5, 1948 in Bastrop, Texas to Emil "Pete" Ebner and Ruth Marie (Schindler) Ebner.

She and her husband, Billy Reid, have owned and operated Billy's Barbeque in Bastrop for many years.

A Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, September 3, 2018 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Bastrop First Assembly, 609 Pecan Street, Bastrop, Texas.
